J and K Grenache- Head trained and on its own rootstock, we use Alban clone Grenache from this tiny vineyard located in the humble AVA Ballard Canyon. Right in the center of the Santa Ynez valley just east of the famed Santa Rita Hills which is known to produce incredible Pinot and Chardonnay we find a hillside landscape evocative of Côtes du Rhône. Farmed organically and sustainably the Grenache sits atop a hill overlooking the property at 700+ feet. Unfiltered to hold all the flavor and true expression of this unique site we are in love with the elegance of this new bottling.
