Paso Lagrein- The parent grape of Syrah hailing from the dolomites of Alto Adige Italy. This wine was picked within 24 hours of our chilled grenache! Block 7 is a single row on the property and produces a powerful balanced fruit profile. San Miguel has been home to winemaking since the 1800's when Franciscan missionaries made wine in the area. This lesser known varietal is often used in blending in the area but we wanted to spotlight it on its own and introduce people to its unique expression.
